"If you don't support the death penalty and citizens packing a pistol, don't come to Texas. If you don't like medical marijuana and gay marriage, don't move to California." Texas Governor Rick Perry writes in his book, Fed Up.

Now residents of Texas have more reasons to stay put thanks to new freedom loving laws in the Lone Star state.

The Star-Telegraph reports that "Pork choppers," will take to the skies Thursday when it becomes legal for hunters to buy seats on hog-hunting helicopters and gun down as many pigs as they can put in their sights.

The Ticket's Chris Moody highlights other "Perry approved" laws including bringing a gun to work, raising the speed limit to 85, and noodling catfish.
